Cheap Board?

We needed a nice board to practice with that wasn't super expensive so we headed to our local Walmart... yes, Walmart! And it's actually a good board too. It's Dark Star brand, only $80 and it has nice trucks and wheels. If you're just looking to start out with something nice and easy to ride as well as not too spendy, you should def go check one of these out!

The Time Machine

This project was in no way shape or form planned out, it was just something that happened in my spare time. I used some sort of neon/metallic markers and just did a bunch of designs and ended up being able to use it under the black light. It's called Time Machine and is currently being used for my fish tank background.

View from fish tank.

View under black light.

Regular view.

Parking Garage Wipe Out

Just skating along doing my thing... and then I manage to wipe out at the end. Not very good video quality, but oh well.

RedBull Explosion

This is what happens when you put Redbull in the freezer and forget about it. Whoops!

Re-Waxing The Gloves

My friend found a new and easy way to add wax to the sliding gloves to help keep the pucks in a little better shape. She used melted Scentsy wax and just painted it on! Worked like a charm and smelled great.

Push Yourself

Filming for upcoming video's.

We found this bench on one of our adventures. It was perfect and is being added to the into to our video's we will be making for now on.

Bear Video Day

We are shooting a longboarding video about animals (thus the animal hats). We spent the day in the woods riding on the trails, making friends with the wild life, and ending the day by wiping out and being extremely tired. The video is still in progress, but here are a few pics from shooting day 1.

Found a nice place to hang our bags so they wouldn't get pokeys on them.

Rocking the bear hats.

Surgeon General Warning

I have a dream, or a vision more really. I just want to make a whole bunch of these heads about issues or things in people's lives that affect them. This one I called Surgeon General Warning and it is supposed to show how cigarettes can become all people think about sometimes.

I took a regular foam head as I used for the Media head and simply used gold acrylic paint to paint the bottom of the head so that it resembled a cigarette filter.

After that, I made the mask by cutting out Camel packs of cigs and gluing them to the mask, writing on the mask, painting the mask, and then gluing the mask on.

The last to go on was the cigarettes and the feathers. The colors of the feathers are supposed to resemble ash or smoke as well as fire or the "cherry" at the end of a cigarette.

Little Fun Projects

Duct Tape Flower

Alcohol + Colors = This

I drew both of these. Hoping to one day get one  as a tattoo.

The-dye is super fun and easy! You can buy kits at almost any craft store.

Just plain ole coloring. I keep empty canvases at my house because all my friends love to come over and doodle or do their own little crafts on them. Maybe I will do a post on all of those later.

There's No Place Like Home

My favorite time of year is the Fall and Winter. I get to go back home and participate in many of the outdoor activities that my home state has to offer. Hunting is one of them. I love to take the dogs out and go pheasant hunting. It's great exercise for the dogs and myself as well as good binding between the family members that go.

Pictured above is Multnomah Falls. It's a beautiful location for hiking and nice picnic with the family or friends.

Dare Devil

I'd like to think of my self as a dare devil. Trying everything just one time, because I can. What's the harm in trying? You might discover something you never knew about yourself. So next time when faced with an option to do something a little extreme, just give it a try. But remember to know and understand your boundaries.
Parasailing is one of the most fun things I have ever done! I've done it several time and in several locations (Hawaii, Canada, California). It literally feels like you are just floating in warm air. Up high away from all your worries down below (or for me up high because I am afraid of heights.

Tattoos! I love them! It's almost like an addiction. I have four, but want a whole bunch more!

All this about is one of the many "Maniac Races" I have ran. They are intense and usually put together buy Navy Seals. I love running them and pushing myself to the max. The feeling once you have finished is unbelievable and you have some awesome scratches and bruises after.

Hoopfest is one of the buggest 3-on-3 basketball tournaments in the world! It's so crazy there and if you get they chance I suggest going. You do even have to play (or be good, I suck) to have a good time! My team took 13th place in our bracket haha.

White water rafting has to be my absolute FAVORITE activity. I've done it all over: Colorado, Montana, West Virginia, Oregon, and Idaho. It's totally and adrenaline rush as well as a great workout.

Other fun things I recommend trying:
Jet Skiing
Snowmobiling
Scuba diving
Swimming with dolphins
